Design and realization of an open single-family residence.

This residence presents itself as an elongated and closed volume. The conscious decision to exclude windows from the front and side facades on the first floor contributes to the massive appearance. Internal patios compensate for the lack of sunlight.

The building is an interaction of residence, swimming pool, terrace and green areas. A raised pedestal brings unity to the various elements.
The contrasting use of materials contributes to the appearance: black, flat and plain joinery alternates with a highly nuanced facing brick with a pronounced relief.

The internal organization is oriented to the sun and the garden at the back. The living spaces at the rear are connected with each other in one continuous whole. Custom-made built-in furniture provides a clear delineation of the various living spaces in the open plan.
