The challenge of this project was to develop five dwellings on sloping land. At the same time, we were looking for a suitable manner to integrate a flat into a village centre with low buildings. To stay visually on the scale of the surrounding homes, the roof covering was passed through the top floor to reduce the scale.

The flat terraces were kept walled-in. The dormers look out over the landscape. The occupants’ garages are built into the incline on the rear edge of the plot. Viewed as covered accommodation, they also act as a covered terrace with a view of the interior square. Moreover, this green plantation roof also offers the opportunity to create a communal green plantation.
