As a rule, a youth accommodation has to be robust and cheap. In order to meet those requirements, we created a playful concept using sea containers for De Kalei. In order to protect the containers from overheating, they were stacked between trees. A large roofed surface between the containers provides a cover for playing games or eating outside on warm days.
