Free interpretation of a gable roof.

Design and realization of an open single-family residence with a physiotherapy practice.

This residence is embedded in a half-open construction but distinguishes itself in its imagery from its other half. Rather than deciding on a gable roof, we selected a different form. At the back the sloped roof follows the line of the building of the neighbours, but on the street side not a trace of a sloping roof can be seen. In this facade image, a small volume in the elongated ground-floor construction section appears to be shifted. This intervention disconnects the residence from its neighbour.
A black facade area points the way to the entrance of the practice and to the entrance area of the private residence.
The almost completely glazed rear aspect provides maximum transparency to the forest.
